My experience with the product:

The scrub usually consists of 2 things – the cream which is a carrier and the granules that actually scrub. I had previously tried the St Ives apricot scrub and the Everyuth walnut scrub that is available in our market. I didn’t like them as they did nothing good for my skin. There is a Himalaya one I am yet to try.

St Ives and Everyuth has a very creamy consistency made my skin oily which in turn triggered acneL. Also the consistency of the cream is so thin that it naturally tends to increase the friction while scrubbing that led to aggravation and inflammation of skin.

While the Freeman one has a thicker cream that doesn’t make your skin greasy. The thick cream helps in reducing the friction on the skin as you are not rubbing those granules directly against your skin. I really liked this scrub except that it smells like glue/fevicol. No worry as the fragrance is mild and bearable.

You can tell from the pictures that I have almost finished this tube. This one tube does last for a long time. I use the scrub twice a week. I highly recommend this to acne prone /combination/oily skinned beauties.

  1. Good scrub for combination-oily skin
  2. Doesn’t make the skin greasy
  3. Consistency of the cream and size of granules is perfect
  4. This tube lasts forever
  5. Doesn’t irritate sensitive skin
  6. Not tested on animals

  1. Availability is a major issue
  2. Smells like glue/ fevicol

Ratings: 5/5… without a doubt!

Will I repurchase? Yes, this is my HG scrub. Freeman Superfruits transforming Facial Scrub does transform your skin. I am definitely going to try the masks from this brand especially the chocolate and strawberry face mask.
